[UPDATE]: 06/02/2020- 11:00PM All is currently quiet and local protests are over. No protest related crimes reported.
We are aware of unsubstantiated rumors of looting and rioting across Placer County. We are monitoring any activity that may be taking place across the county, but want to remind you to please check our Twitter account @placersheriff and this Facebook page for accurate, up to date information. The safety of our community remains our top priority. Please call 911 to report any in-progress crimes.

What to do if you. hear rumors of criminal activity in Lincoln Hills:

Summer Reminders:

  • Lock your vehicle doors!!
  • Lock doors and windows when not in use. Bug screen doors are not secure.
  • Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. They will send an email each morning you have mail and/or
    packages. Pick up packages ASAP.
  • Outgoing mail should be posted in a USPS collection box (click for list of locations) or in the morning in
    the mail station.
  • Do not leave garage door opener or registration in vehicle. Registration can be photocopied and folded
    to fit in a wallet.
  • Notify your mailbox captain when you go out of town and arrange for a neighbor to pick up mail or
    have it held at the Post Office.
  • Consider asking for a Lincoln Police Vacation Home Check.
