Reneé Plummer, Executive Assistant
Reneé Plummer spent most of her life in the Central Valley and married her high school sweetheart, Daryl Plummer. They lived in Clovis, CA and had 39 wonderful years together before he was taken by cancer in 2012. They were blessed with two children and 4 grandchildren. In 2013, Reneé moved to SCLH to be closer to her son, who lives in Lincoln with his wife and 3 children.
After 25 years in school transportation – the last 15 as Clovis Unified School District’s Driver Training Coordinator, Reneé “officially” retired in 2012. She quickly decided she was too “young” to retire completely, so she formed her own Training Consultant business in 2014. She loves her job and the wonderful people she meets at various schools and transit organizations in the area. Her job varies from auditing records, to teaching original school bus driver training courses, to safety meetings and workshops, to preparing potential candidates for the Department of Education’s School Bus Driver Instructor Program.
A Neighborhood Watch volunteer since 2017 – first as a mailbox captain, then coordinator, Renee currently serves as the Neighborhood Watch Executive Assistant and webmaster of the SCLH NW website . Reneé utilized her love of desktop publishing and graphic design to create the “We ♥️ our Neighbors” Neighborhood Watch logo, buttons and numerous new forms and documents currently in use and posted on the SCLH website.
