Cheri Jaggers 2025

Cheri is a second-generation Californian and a native of Sacramento.  She graduated from El Camino High School, attended Sacramento City Community College, and holds a certificate in Public Administration from CSUS.  Cheri retired from the position of Recreation Manager at El Dorado Irrigation District in 2014.  She managed popular regional forest recreation areas in three counties, with over 500,000 visitors annually – facilities included four boat ramps on three lakes, hiking trails, picnic areas, individual and group camping areas.Cheri’s volunteer history includes two years as President of the Pollock Pines-Camino Rotary Club, four years as a member of the Pollock Pines Community Response Team (CERT) and was a founding member of the Community Development Association of Pollock Pines.

Cheri has worked collaboratively on both activities/projects, fires, and medical emergencies with Cal Fire, local Fire, Sheriff, and Forest Service. As a member of CERT, Cheri was trained by the El Dorado Sheriffs Department, using FEMA Curriculum, on fire safety, light Search and rescue, disaster medical and shelter operations. In addition to attending many situational drills, she has staffed emergency shelters, worked traffic control for events and handled many emergency situations.

Cheri embraces the Rotary Clubs’ “Service above self” motto and is excited to serve the SCLH community via Neighborhood Watch
