UPS/FEDEX Packages:
1..Ask a neighbor to check for your package.
2..Have it held at the shipping center:
UPS is in Rocklin at 2275 Sierra Meadows Dr (off Pacific St)
FedEx is in Rocklin at 1500 Nichols Dr (off Cincinnati Ave, south of the casino)
3..Sign up for free My UPS and/or FedEx Delivery Manager which will send you an email notifying you when a package is delivered. You can also specify to have your packages delivered to your back door or the UPS store in the Safeway shopping center. (Some drivers interpret that to mean the side garage door but at least it’s away from the front porch. As they get closer to Christmas & very busy, they may just leave it on the porch.)
CAR DOORS AND TRUNKS ARE NOT SECURE, EVEN WHEN LOCKED. IN PARTICULAR, DO NOT LEAVE BEHIND LAPTOPS OR PERSONAL INFO; THESE COULD BE USED TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY. DO NOT leave the garage door opener or registration in the car.
Remind your guests to lock their vehicles and keep everything out of sight!!
