1…..During the night, between Wed. 07/25/18 and Thursday 07/26/18, some person/s unknown threw EGGS on cars which were parked in driveways, in the 2300 Block of Monument Dr, on Monument Court and at least one on Winding Way.
(V22A & 22B back to Stoneridge Blvd & 12 Bridges Dr, near the entrance to Lincoln Hills & open space, entrance is Hidden Hills)
2….. A resident reports that on Thursday 07/26/18 he observed granules of “DECON RAT POISON” ON THE SIDEWALK near the intersection of Waterwheel Ln and Sawmill Ln. (PET OWNERS AND PET WALKERS BE AWARE AND ALERT)
(V3A is near Kilaga Springs Lodge, backs to Stags Leap, Sun City Blvd & golf course)
3…..There have been multiple reports of “PHONE/EMAIL SCAMS” resulting in the resident/victims lost several thousand dollars. In one case the “SCAMMER” used the email address of the victim’s neighbor to convince the victim to send $300 dollars. In another case the victim was tricked into sending $4,000 dollars. In both of these cases the residents were directed to BUY “iTunes” cards and give the “SCAMMER” the numbers on the back of the cards. ## Request to purchase “iTunes Cards” is a tip off that this is a “SCAM” call.!!!!

AT THIS TIME IT IS UNKNOWN HOW THE “DECON”, MENTIONED IN ITEM 2 , GOT ON THE SIDEWALK. AGAIN, PET OWNERS AND PET WALKERS BE ALERT AND AWARE !!! THIS MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN A MALICIOUS ACT OF PLACING POISON ON THE SIDEWALK.
SCAM CALLS AND EMAILS COME INTO OUR COMMUNITY DAILY !!! A GOOD RULE TO FOLLOW: NEVER RESPOND TO “UNSOLICITED” PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. WHEN IN DOUBT CONTACT A RELATIVE, FRIEND OR NEIGHBOR, OR CALL ME (My number is listed below) BEFORE RESPONDING TO ANY “UNKNOWN CALLER OR EMAIL”.
