Alert: Suspicious Occurrence V31C

A resident in the 1900 block of Hidden Hollow Ln reports that on Sunday 07/22/18 at or about 12:00 Midnight, she was awakened by the sound of a vehicle with a  “loud motor” in front of the house. She and her husband observed the below listed vehicle with suspect #2 “riding on a skateboard”, hanging on to said vehicle as they “cruised” down the street. The vehicle stopped in front of this residents house. This resident’s husband’s company van was parked in their driveway. The residents heard Suspect #2  state to the driver of the suspect vehicle, ” I can get into that van”. The suspect vehicle then continued down the street and turned around in a driveway. The suspect vehicle then came back to this residents house, with S#2 still riding his skateboard and hanging onto the suspect vehicle. At that point the resident turned on the outside house lights and the suspect vehicle drove away. The Lincoln Police were called and responded a few minutes later, but the suspects were  gone.

Suspect Vehicle: Dark color , Older model Pickup with a “VERY loud motor/muffler”

Suspect #1: Driver of vehicle not observed

Suspect #2: Male, 20-30 yrs. old on a “Skateboard”. (No further description at this time)

When you observe a suspicious person or vehicle, especially late at night, DO NOT HESITATE; call the Police Immediately. In this case it was not an emergency so you would call the ” Non-Emergency Number”  916-645-4040.   However, in an Emergency Situation never hesitate to call the ” Emergency number 9-1-1”.

WHEN NOT IN USE, ALWAYS LOCK YOUR VEHICLE DOORS AND NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING OF ANY VALUE IN PLAIN VIEW INSIDE THE VEHICLE.!!!!!
