A resident in the 1100 block of Longhorn Ln reports that sometime between the night of Sunday 04/01/18 and the afternoon of Wednesday 04/04/18some person(s) unknown attempted to gain entry into the residence. The rear bedroom window screen had been cut and there were pry marks on the screen frame.    No entry was made.

During that time period, the residents were home with only short trips to the store, etc. The Lincoln Police responded and made a note of the incident. This residence is an inside lot.!!

(V4 backs to golf course and Sun City Blvd, entrance is Lasso Lake Ln)

ALWAYS BE AWARE AND ALERT, WHETHER AT HOME OR OUT SHOPPING. “IMMEDIATELY” REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSON(S) OR VEHICLES, INCLUDING BICYCLE RIDERS.

WHEN REPORTING A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE TRY TO OBTAIN THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER AND GIVE IT TO THE POLICE OPERATOR WHEN YOU CALL.!!

Motion sensor lights at all outside entrances can be a Burglary deterrent !!  Also inside lights on timers and a radio or TV left on when not at home, can be a deterrent !!

AFTER an incident and the police have responded, notify your MAILBOX CAPTAIN AND /OR CALL ME.

That way I can get the information out ASAP so that your neighbors and other residents can be more aware and alert.

If you missed the symposium with Chief Lee and Chief Hack, you can see it on the Association website sclhresidents.com. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Forum Videos.
