Keeping our community connected and protected is a team effort! We have a couple of vital community-building events and senior safety fairs coming up. Mark your calendars and share this information with friends, family, and vulnerable neighbors.

Neighborhood Watch Safety Event

• When: Wednesday, September 23, 2026
• Time: 1 pm
• Where: Kilaga Spring Presentation Hall
• Summary: Lincoln Police Sgt. Jesse McCauley and Traffic Officer Brett Schneider will be sharing ongoing trespass issues and security updates, traffic safety guidelines, and current scams specifically targeting seniors. This is your opportunity to learn, ask questions, and stay informed to keep everyone safe.

Sun City Lincoln Hill Neighborhood Watch National Night Out

• When: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
• Time: 4:00 PM  with Q & A 5:30 PM (Residents hosting private block get-togethers are encouraged to host early in the morning or early afternoon so as to not miss this main event!)
• Where: SCLH Sports Pavilion
• Summary: National Night Out promotes community police-fire partnerships and represents our determination to keep our area safe throughout the year. Come meet your local police, fire personnel, and community service representatives. Enjoy music, a no-host BBQ, and a no-host bar. The participation of every Village Coordinator, Mailbox Captain, and resident is vital to promote unity and celebrate safety in numbers!

Placer PROTECT Senior Resource Fair

• When: Thursday, September 24, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Where: Maidu Community Center (1550 Maidu Dr, Roseville, CA)
• Summary: A completely FREE safety and wellness event hosted by Placer County’s District Attorney’s Office and Placer HHS. Meet over 60 resource providers specializing in elder care, elder abuse prevention, and scam defense. Enjoy free Kaiser flu shots, a Best Buy tech clinic to secure your electronics, free lunch (while supplies last), and coffee with local officials. 4th Annual Lincoln Senior Health and Resource Fair

• When: Thursday, October 8, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Where: McBean Park Pavilion (65 McBean Park Drive, Lincoln, CA)
• Summary: A FREE senior health and resources fair supported by Seniors First and the City of Lincoln. Discover local safety networks, healthcare information, great food vendors, tech support, and resource planning.
