Lincoln Residents,
Lincoln PD have been getting calls about fraudulent traffic violation notices being sent to local citizens via text message. Ironically, I, too, received this same message on my personal cell phone. I wanted to get this community alert bulletin out for awareness.
Please see the attached Traffic Violation Scam Bulletin. They are being sent from a variety of spoofed phone numbers. We are asking the public not to scan the QR code and to block the phone number if possible.
