Medication & DUI Awareness Event Recap
On June 19th, the Lincoln Police Department Traffic Unit hosted a public education event at Kilaga Springs Lodge in the Sun City Lincoln Hills community. The focus: raising awareness about how prescription and over-the-counter medications can impair driving—especially for our senior population. (see video below)
With support from our Patrol Division and the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, the event provided valuable education on the risks and legal consequences of medication-related DUI.
We’re proud to serve and educate our community to keep our roads safe. This outreach was made possible through funding from the CHP Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program.
Thank you to all who attended and helped make this a successful event!
