For Your Information
Neighborhood Watch is sharing this information as a reminder of the upcoming Free Medication Take-Back event, a valuable opportunity for our community.
This event, hosted at the Lincoln Police Department, (770 7th Street, near the corner of 7th Street and H Street) on October 26th, 2024, between 10am -2 pm, allows citizens to drive up and drop off any unwanted/expired medications, from over-the-counter drugs to prescribed medications. The process is fast, easy, and anonymous, providing a safe and responsible way to dispose of medications.
The following links are in addition to the Lincoln PD flyer posted on our NW website/current Alerts, and explains more about the event: location/time/what is included and what is not.
1st link will redirect you to the Placer-Nevada RX Drug Safety Coalition. Which covers the newly promoted Free Sharps and Lancets mail-back options. Free Medication mail-back options and free year-round drop-off locations.

The Lincoln Police Department looks forward to your participation in this important initiative. Your involvement can make a significant difference. In April of 2024, the Lincoln Police Department, with the help of the public, had a total of 218 cars attend the event and collected a total of 642 pounds of medications. Let’s aim even higher this time!
