Announcing the Placer County Senior Resource Fair hosted by Placer PROTECT, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, and Placer County Health and Human Services is coming up!! The event is on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10AM-2PM at the Maidu Community Center, 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet over 65+ senior based resource providers in Placer County, meet with Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire and other local officials, as well as listen to free seminars about senior scams, technology safety, and protecting yourself as you age. There will be a free legal clinic hosted by Legal Services of Northern California at the event. Best Buy will be hosting a free technology clinic at the event. Anderson Bros. Town and Country Pharmacy and Chapa-De will be hosting a free health clinic. There will be a drive-up free paper shredding event with a 2 box maximum hosted by AARP in the parking lot. Salvation Army will provide lunch to attendees for free, as supplies last. Seniors First is hosting a raffle at the end of the event (must be present to win).
