The Lincoln Police Department is now reporting to Citizen RIMS (Records Information Management System), an online tool that integrates with the Police department computer aided dispatch system. This service is FREE to Lincoln residents and is a great tool for citizens to review and obtain current information on what is happening in their neighborhoods. It provides links (to the left of map on their website) to Vacation Home Checks, Directed Patrol Requests, and Security Camera Registration.
Citizen RIMS provides direct access to current information. It allows the public to view near real-time mapped incidents and more. Lincoln residents can view police incidents and sort them by date range and incident type, view lists of vehicles reported stolen, access 30-day history of arrests and daily 24-hour media bulletins summarizing incidents.
Lincoln residents can subscribe to receive daily or weekly Lincoln PD email alerts by enrolling here.
