Vehicle Burglary

Sometime between the late night of Saturday, 01/15/22, and the early morning of Sunday, 01/16/22, some person(s) unknown entered two vehicles parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1000 block of Sun Park Ln. Both vehicles had been inadvertently left unlocked. The perpetrator(s) ransacked both vehicles and stole miscellaneous items including money, gym clothes, and wrapped snack food in preparation for the following day.  The Lincoln Police responded and made a report. (The 1000 block of Sun Park Ln is just off Del Webb Blvd across from the Bocce Ball courts)

We live in a relatively safe community, however from time to time there are opportunist thieves who drive through our villages looking for easy targets, i.e., doors left open or unlocked, valuables left in plain sight in vehicles.

Always close and lock your doors and windows when not in use.

If you see a suspicious person(s) or vehicle, call the police immediately. When reporting a suspicious vehicle try to obtain the license plate number and give it to the police dispatcher when you call.

Lincoln Police Emergency 911; non-emergency number 916-645-4040

  1. Fully close overhead garage door day and night
  2. Lock side garage door

  4. Turn on exterior lights at dusk
