Neighborhood Watch Presents the Fall Safety Symposium

LINCOLN POLICE & FIRE: Chief Matt Alves
Chief Alves and his team will be here to share an overview of the Police and Fire Department, crime and fire statistics, crime and fire prevention and volunteerism in our community. Topics will include: how to handle solicitors at your door, vial of life, scams and how to avoid them. There will be a question-and-answer period as well.
Topics will include Placer Protect services relevant to senior Citizen’s, alder abuse, crime victims’ rights, and Adult Protective Services. Placer PROTECT provides email alerts about scams, a Fraud Hotline, Elder Abuse Protection Presentations, and Elder Abuse Awareness Events.
Neighborhood Watch will provide various handouts covering alerts, safety tips and who to call flyers. This symposium supports the Neighborhood Watch Mission: to increase personal safety and awareness and to be the eyes and ears of the Lincoln Police and Fire Department.
