UPS has a list of scams. I received the last one in the list today: complete survey to receive an award. Tipoff was the email was fuzzy. Then I checked the address of the sender and it was not UPS. https://www.ups.com/assets/resources/media/en_US/fraud_email_examples.pdf

DO NOT FALL FOR THE GRANDCHILD SCAM! Ask for identifying information or tell the caller that you already told him you would not give him any more money.

Government agencies and utilities will not call or email you. They always use USPS mail.

Charity solicitations. Tell them you don’t make donations by phone.
