1…….Sometime during the night or early morning hours of Tuesday, August 25/26, there was a vehicle stolen from an open garage in the 2000 block of Stepping Stone Ln. A police report was made. There are no known suspects at this time. (V38D backs to 12 Bridges & golf course, entrance is Parkside Dr off 12 Bridges)

There are alarms that can warn you if your door is open. Some are simple red and green lights on a unit inside the home and others work with your smart phone. Check with your manufacturer or at the hardware store.

2…….There was a report of an unlocked truck being vandalized in the 2500 block of Woodacre Ln. Some money and two pairs of Sunglasses were stolen. (V22B backs to open space, 12 Bridges and Stoneridge, entrance is Crescent Ln off Stoneridge)

3……..A resident in the 2500 block of Woodacre Ln reports that some person/s unknown have been breaking eggs on the driveway. This has been occurring for the past two months.

The resident states that she goes for a walk between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM and when she returns she occasionally finds the eggs broken on the driveway. One time she found a half-opened package of Salami. The resident states that she has not had any dispute with anyone in the area.
*** (THIS WAS THE SECOND REPORTED INCIDENT IN THE 2500 BLOCK OF WOODACRE LN. )

Burglary and theft are crimes of opportunity — do not provide opportunities!

The police cannot be everywhere, therefore residents need to be alert and report any suspicious persons or vehicles. Try to get the license number. This is the mission of Neighborhood Watch: Observe and Report.
