Disturbing Incident in V24D
A resident in the 2600 block of Blue Heron Loop reports two incidents on Friday/Saturday 06/12-13/2020, one at 9:30PM and one at 3:00AM. During those times she heard loud knocking at her front door and someone saying “Hello Mom.” “Are you in there?” The resident wisely did not answer the door. The Lincoln Police were called and they drove by the residence but did not contact the resident. The resident had contacted a neighbor who came over. The neighbor did not see anyone the first time and neither did the police. The second time at 3:00AM, the resident called the Lincoln Police and went over to the neighbor’s house to stay the night. Again the police drove past the resident’s house but did not see anyone. At this time there are no known suspects. (V24D backs to 12 Bridges Dr & a walking trail, entrance is Blue Heron Loop off Spring Valley Pkwy)
WHEN SOMEONE YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING COMES TO YOUR DOOR, DAY OR NIGHT, DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. TALK TO THEM THROUGH THE DOOR OR A SIDE WINDOW. ONCE YOU OPEN YOUR DOOR, YOU LOSE THAT PHYSICAL BARRIER OF PROTECTION.
WHEN YOU SEE ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSON OR VEHICLE:
