The City has been notified by PG&E that Phase 1 power shutdowns, which includes Placer County, will commence at midnight tonight. Electricity service shutdowns in and around the City of Lincoln could occur any time after midnight. The City will continue to provide its residents with the most up to date information as it becomes available.

We understand this power outage can be very disruptive. It is the commitment of the City of Lincoln to continue to do everything in its ability to continue to provide critical services for water, sewer and public safety services. Please be aware that street lights within the power outage area will not be functioning. Many traffic signals will also not be functioning. At these intersections there will be temporary stop signs in place for the duration of the power outage. If a traffic signal is not functioning, it should be treated as a stop sign even if no stop signs are present.

Please be careful as you travel, help each other, and be safe.
