Observe and Report is the mission of Neighborhood Watch. The police cannot be everywhere, therefore residents need to be extra alert and report any suspicious persons or vehicles.
Call IMMEDIATELY to give police time to arrive. |
Use the checklist in our “Worry-Free Vacation” flyer.
Notify your Mail Box Captain and/or friend.
You can request the Lincoln Police to do a Vacation Home Check.
Is your neighbor out of town? Remove newspapers and flyers left on their driveway or front porch.
Remind your visitors to lock vehicle doors and keep everything out of sight.
Do not leave the garage door remote or registration in the car. Keychain remotes are available online or in hardware stores. Make copies of your insurance and registration forms, fold and keep in your wallet.
Keep your front garage door fully closed — keep out INTRUDERS, SNAKES and SKUNKS.
