Easter is April 21st. Schools are out at various times for Spring Break. Residents are going out of town to visit relatives. Relatives are visiting here.
Observe and Report is the mission of Neighborhood Watch. The police cannot be everywhere, therefore residents need to be extra alert and report any suspicious persons or vehicles.
Call IMMEDIATELY to give police time to arrive.
If it’s an emergency, call 911, non-emergency call 916 645-4040.
Try to take a picture of the license plate or write it down and give the number to the dispatcher.
* Use our “Worry-Free Vacation” flyer.
* Is your neighbor out of town? Remove newspapers and flyers left on their driveway or front porch.
* Remind your visitors to lock vehicle doors and keep everything out of sight.
* NEVER OPEN YOUR DOOR TO ANY STRANGER!! TALK TO THEM THROUGH THE DOOR OR A SIDE WINDOW. “ONCE YOU OPEN THE DOOR, YOU HAVE NO PROTECTION.”
* Keep your front garage door fully closed — keep out INTRUDERS, SNAKES and SKUNKS.
