(V3A is across from Kilaga Springs Lodge, backs to Stags Leap Ln & golf course, entrances are River Rock Ln & Waterwheel Ln) In this case the only item visible was a small flashlight and that was enough for the thieves to break into these vehicles looking for something better. We do live in a relatively safe community however, from time to time there are opportunist thieves who drive through our villages looking for something to steal. Always lock your doors/windows and never leave ANYTHING visible in your vehicle when not in use!! The police cannot be everywhere therefore residents need to be extra alert and report any suspicious persons or vehicles. This is the mission of Neighborhood Watch: Observe and Report. Call IMMEDIATELY to give police time to arrive. If it’s an emergency call 911, non-emergency call 916 645-4040. When reporting a suspicious vehicle, try to obtain the license plate number (take a picture with your phone) and give the number to the dispatcher.

Some time between Saturday 04/06/19 PM and Sunday 04/07/19 AM some person(s) unknown smashed the windows on two vehicles which were parked in the driveway of a residence in the 500 block of Sawmill Ct.The loss was keys and other small items which were hidden from view in a rear compartment. The vehicles have tinted windows and the only item visible was a small flashlight. The police responded and a report was made.
