1…..(Burglary) On Saturday, 02/16/19 between 4:30 PM and 7:15 PM some person(s) unknown entered a residence on Eagles Peak Ln (Between Rossi and Falcon View Ln). The point of entry was a rear sliding glass door, which was smashed. Loss was jewelry.  The police responded and a report was made.

On Saturday, 02/16/19 at 8:10 PM a resident in the 2300 block of Longspur Loop heard a noise at his rear door. He observed a subject with a pry bar, trying to pry open the security screen door. When this subject observed the resident, he fled. He was last seen headed through the backyard towards the open space area and Twelve Bridges Blvd. The resident notified the Lincoln Police and Curator, the Association’s Private Security Service. Curator was first on the scene and began a search of the area, coordinating with the LPD. Curator continued to patrol the area after the LPD had gone back in service. The suspect was not located. The resident could not give a description of the subject as the back of his house is totally dark.

Just prior to this incident the Lincoln Police had responded to the Burglary described above on Eagles Peak Ln and one in Catta Verdera. In both of those cases the suspect(s) had smashed the rear sliding glass door to gain entry.

2…..(Suspicious Persons) Two subjects have been going door to door “allegedly” doing an analysis service for PG&E. They will ask to enter your residence to be able to write down information. In one case, on Laurelhurst Ln, these subjects knew the resident’s name. An officer from Curator, the Association’s Private Security Service was notified and he stopped and questioned these individuals on Parkside Dr. The subjects did not have a valid Permit and stated at first, that they were soliciting for an Alarm company, then later stated it was a Solar Panelcompany called “VSLR”. They showed the officer a copy of our Compass magazine that had an ad in the back for “VSLR”. These subjects were walking on a public street and, to the officers knowledge, had not committed any crime so he let them walk away. He did notice one subject remove his jacket and put it in the below listed vehicle. The Lincoln Police were contacted and advised. The LPD responded and checked the vehicle. The subjects were not contacted at that time.

(This is for information only. At this time these subjects are not known to have committed any crime other than possible soliciting without a permit.)

Subjects: One had a beard and one had red hair!! (Photos were taken of both)

Subjects’ vehicle: Subaru, WRX, Silver color with red mud flaps.  California License plate number 8DHA037.

3…..(Computer Hacker)  A resident reports that she received an Email from an unknown subject “Hacker” stating that he/she had the resident’s personal information. The “Hacker” demanded $7,400 within 48 hours or the “Hacker” would “do things with this personal information”!!

The resident uses Facebook and has donated to several “GoFundMe” accounts, and that is where she believes the “Hacker” obtained her personal information. This resident did not fall for this “Scam” and has since installed a computer “Fire Wall”.
