Alert: Malicious Incidents in SCLH

From time to time some person(s) unknown drive through our villages and throw eggs on vehicles parked in driveways of various residents. There was a series of “Eggings” in March of this year, 2018, in villages 34A, 35A and 36. There was a Neighborhood Watch Alert Report made at that time. On July 26, 2018 and August 22, 2018 there were several more incidents of “Egging”. Those occurred in villages 19, 22A and 22B. All of these incidents occurred during the late night or early morning and to date, no one has observed the perpetrators.

All of the above incidents occurred a few blocks off the main roads (Spring Valley Pkwy and Stoneridge Blvd), however this type of Malicious Mischief has occurred in other locations in the past.

These incidents do not appear to be “Directed Attacks” but rather random juvenile pranks.

“Egging” is very annoying, and time consuming to clean up, and can damage the paint on your vehicle or house if left to dry. If you must park outside, close all windows, lock the doors, remove the garage door remote, and it is suggested that you cover the vehicle.

NEVER HESITATE TO CALL THE POLICE “IMMEDIATELY” IF YOU SEE ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSON(S) OR VEHICLE.

(IN AN EMERGENCY CALL 911, NON-EMERGENCY CALL 916-645-4040) If you observe a suspicious vehicle, try to obtain the license plate number and give it to the police operator when you call !!!!!
