On Saturday 04/21/18, 10:30 PM a resident in the 2600 block of Eagles Peak Ln reported that some person(s) unknown rang her front doorbell. The resident then heard someone moving the door handle. She then saw a “Shadow” moving past her side window towards the rear of the house. She then heard the back door handle being jiggled. At that point she called “911” and started screaming that she was calling the Police and to go away. The police arrived shortly after, searched the area, but could not find anyone. There is no further information at this time. (V35A backs to open space & Rossi Ln, entrance is Eagles Peak off Rossi Ln)
This resident did everything “Right”. She had all her doors locked, She did not answer the door at that hour and she called the “Emergency Police number, 911” IMMEDIATELY !!!
Side Note: CONTRARY TO SOME “FALSE RUMORS”, OUR COMMUNITY IS A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. YES, FROM TIME TO TIME THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS/THIEVES WHO DRIVE THROUGH OUR VILLAGES LOOKING FOR AN “EASY” TARGET, I. E.: SOMETHING TO STEAL. WE MUST ALWAYS BE AWARE AND ALERT AND “IMMEDIATELY” REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSON(s) OR VEHICLES TO THE POLICE (Emergency 911; Non-Emergency 916-645-4040)

REVIEW PRIOR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH BULLETINS THAT DETAIL OTHER STEPS TO TAKE TO MAKE YOUR HOME A “HARDER TARGET”.
