#1. On Monday 04/16/18 , approximately 12:20PM , a “VERY ALERT” resident on Farmgate Ln observed the below listed vehicle parked in front of a house in the 2000 block of Farmgate Ln . This resident also observed a person exit said vehicle and go into the rear yard of that residence. This “Alert” resident knew that the person living there was away on vacation. She immediately went over to the vehicle and observed a person “scrunched down” in the front seat. She had a brief conversation with this person (#1 below). He said he was looking for a lost dog. Our resident then proceeded towards the house and the person in the listed vehicle began honking the horn. Within a few seconds subject #2 came running from the rear yard yelling “Did you see the dog? This subject (#2) quickly entered the suspect vehicle and they immediately drove off. The police were called. They responded and observed that a rear window screen had been removed and that there were pry marks on a rear bedroom window. (This residence has an Alarm System and signs posted). (V29 backs to E Joiner Pkwy, Del Webb Blvd & golf course, entrances are Farmgate Ln & Rose Bouquet Ln, off Del Webb Blvd)

#2. A resident in the 1200 block of Longhorn Ln reports that on several occasions, at about 4:00 AM some person unknown has been ringing her door bell. One additional neighbor has also experienced this type of activity.
#3. One of our residents reports that, according to an internet blog, apparently, in other parts of the state , there have been multiple thefts using the following method of operation:
A female goes to the gas station, gets out and starts filling her vehicle with gas. If she does not lock her vehicle the thief will sneak over to the passenger side of the vehicle, open the door and steal the lady’s purse, usually on the front seat. These thieves have been named “SLIDERS”.
ALWAYS BE AWARE AND ALERT AND REPORT “IMMEDIATELY” TO THE POLICE ANY SUSPICIOUS PERSON/S OR VEHICLES, INCLUDING BICYCLE RIDERS !! (Emergency # 911; Non-Emergency # 916-645-4040)
